A sustainable future

At Lifetime Group we believe in building a sustainable future—not just for the businesses and industries we serve, but for the people and communities at the heart of them.

As a leader in delivering high-quality learning programmes, we recognise the profound impact we can make by equipping individuals with the skills they need to thrive while supporting the broader goals of environmental stewardship, social progress, and responsible governance.

Our Environment, Social, Governance and Impact (ESGI) strategy reflects our commitment to creating value beyond the bottom line. It’s about aligning our mission with the evolving priorities of a modern workforce and the global imperative for sustainability.

By embedding ESGI principles into our operations, programme delivery, assessment, and accreditation remit, we aim to demonstrate that this strategy is not just an add-on to our business—it’s a reflection of who we are and what we stand for.

We’re leveraging the power of learning as a force for positive change and are committed to building a future that’s not only skilled and productive, but also fair, inclusive, and sustainable.

Environmental

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact.

Focusing on key areas that are important to us and our customers, we are working to understand our baseline emissions and create a decarbonisation roadmap. We are also engaging with our suppliers to reduce our impact together. Our customers are increasingly telling us that this is important to them, and we believe that working together allows us all to achieve more.

Social

We are proud to support our people, customers, learners, and communities.

We invest in our colleagues' health and wellbeing, and we promote a culture of development and growth. We also support our communities through philanthropy and volunteerism. We are committed to ethical and human-rights-respecting practices in our supply chain, and we prioritise cybersecurity to protect our business and learners.

Governance

Our ESGI strategy is guided by strong governance and oversight to ensure we meet our goals and make a positive impact.

We track our progress through regular reporting and strive to minimise our environmental footprint. We are committed to accountability and have established policies to guide our ESGI efforts across the organisation.

Impact

We are a business that focuses on positively impacting people.

We help people achieve their goals through training and upskilling. We track and measure our impact to show the value of our programmes to our customers. We are also focused on integrating impact into our decision-making as we grow and evolve. For example, we utilise the Social Return on Investment framework to measure the social, environmental, and economic value we create relative to the investments we’ve made, and in our 2025 ESGI report, we calculated our SROI to be £112,423,297.
