Job applicant privacy policy

1. About us

Lifetime Group includes Skilltech, Innovate Awarding, and Lifetime, and is the trading name for MTH MidCo 2 Limited, which is an intermediate holding company of Lifetime Training Group Limited and Skilltech Solutions Limited.

Lifetime Training Group is the parent company of Innovate Awarding Limited.

If your application is for a role within one of our subsidiary companies (Lifetime Training Ltd, Innovate Awarding Limited, Skilltech Solutions Limited), the relevant company will be a data controller.


2. What information we collect

During recruitment, we may collect and process the following:

  • Contact details (name, address, phone, email).
  • Application details (CV, cover letter, qualifications, work history, skills).
  • Interview notes and assessment results.
  • References and pre-employment checks (where applicable).
  • Equal opportunities monitoring data (e.g. ethnicity, disability, gender) – provided voluntarily.

All third-party providers are bound by contracts requiring them to protect your data.

6. How long we keep your information

  • Successful applicants: Application forms and interview notes are kept for the duration of employment and up to 6 years after employment ends (statutory limitation period).
  • Unsuccessful applicants: Application forms and interview notes are retained for 1 year after notification of outcome (to respond to potential claims).

After these periods, data is securely deleted.

7. Your rights

As a job applicant, you have the following rights:

  • Access – request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification – ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure – request deletion of your data, subject to legal requirements.
  • Restriction – ask us to stop processing your data in certain circumstances.
  • Objection – object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
