A sense of belonging, for everyone

We’re on a mission to broaden the diversity of our workforce and create a sense of belonging for all.

With every step we take, we’re better representing our learners and partners to greater understand and fulfil their needs.

By listening to our emerging diverse workforce, we agree future goals and priorities as a community. This in turn will help secure a sustainable future for the Group, benefiting not just us but also our partners and learners.

For our future workforce

Opportunities free from unconscious bias
By eliminating any unconscious bias from our job descriptions and adverts, we aim to encourage a diverse range of applicants.

Diversity-led recruitment
Partnering with focussed job boards and platforms helps increase awareness of the Group to a broader, more diverse range of candidates. We also require our hiring managers to consult people with different lived experiences to themselves to ensure fair and balanced perspectives during candidate evaluation.

We look at your experience, not your background
All personal details are removed from our vacancy applications when delivered to the hiring manager to help reduce unconscious bias during the screening stage. While we are not yet able to anonymise CVs ourselves, we encourage candidates to do so before submission.

Streamlined selection process
We’ve removed certain assessment requirements from the selection process to make our hiring more as accessible as it can be.

Once you’re part of the team

Disability Confident Employer
We’re changing attitudes and behaviours towards disability and helping our disabled people to fulfil their potential.

In depth training for all
All our people are trained in equity, diversity, and inclusion to ensure everyone understands and recognises how having a diverse and inclusive workforce is crucial to drive change and make a difference to our current and future life changing people. We also provide comprehensive training to all hiring managers to ensure inclusive and unbiased recruitment decisions.

Change, driven by data
By confidentially and voluntarily sharing personal demographic data with us, you help us to drive initiatives that broaden diversity. We also encourage you to share your thoughts and experiences of our recruitment process to help inform our future actions for improvement.

Gender pay transparency
Approximately 60% of our workforce are female. We openly publish our Gender Pay Report annually and ensure the actions and findings feed into our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Strategy.

Communities of likeminded people
Communities are at your fingertips, like Menopause Mates, where colleagues collaborate to provide guidance and information, create a safe space to share experiences, and discuss personal journeys and insight.
